What a great day to be outside and explore nature!
On Friday, we had the opportunity to soak in the sights, sounds and smells of the famous Jeju Gotjawal Forest. The best explanation I found about the Gotjawal Forest is at the following website...http://theme.ecolandjeju.co. kr/M/EN/story/gotjawal.php
Trees
by Joyce Kilmer (1886-1918)
by Joyce Kilmer (1886-1918)
I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is pressed
Against the earth's sweet flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;
A tree that may in Summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems are made by people like me,
But only God can make a tree.

Against the earth's sweet flowing breast;

And lifts her leafy arms to pray;
