Battle of the Books 2016
Our team met at 6:00 am this past Saturday to fly to Seoul for the Battle of the Books 2016. Sixteen teams from nine international schools were competing.
For the past three months, we have been busy preparing for this big book trivia competition. We read ten books and then practiced answering comprehension questions about them.
We arrived at Seoul Foreign School and spent a few minutes reviewing our books and study notes.
We were keen to start our first match... two rounds (lasting ten minutes each) of questions about the ten books.
At the end of the day, we were excited to have tied for fifth place. What a great example of hard work, collaboration, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship!
We relaxed at Lotte Mall before heading back to Jeju.
