EBSCO...a valuable research database

This week in library, all of the Grade 3 -5 classes were introduced to EBSCO (http://search.ebscohost.com).  EBSCO is an electronic resource the KIS libraries subscribe to in order to provide access to magazines and newspaper articles about various topics.

We clicked on Kids Search and had access to over 70 popular magazines for elementary student research. Our key word searches resulted in lists of relevant magazine, journal, and newspaper articles.  Then we clicked on Student Research Center and we could chose our sources of information, dates of publication, and reading level.  We are excited to have such a valuable research tool at our fingertips to support our learning!
